The Museu Can Tinturé (Can Tinturé Museum) is home to the Salvador Miquel

Salvador Miquel (Barcelona 1900-1983) was a pioneer in interest in design tiles. Author of the first inventory of design tiles, he was also the founder and first chairman of the Associació Catalana de Ceràmica Decorada i Terrissa (Decorated Clay Ceramics Association of Catalonia).
The Museu de Can Tinturé is the first museum in the country to contain nothing but design tiles. Its exhibitions show the importance of tiles as an artistic and cultural expression which covered the walls of many homes in Barcelona, Catalonia and the Iberian Peninsula from the Mediaeval period up to the time when their production became industrialised.
The Museum houses 600 pieces made between the 14th and 19th centuries, and its collection is supplemented by pieces from others such as the Pujol i Bausis and Santiago Albertí collections.
Visitors can use visors to view the use of these tiles in different places such as farmhouses, chapels and other locations. They also get the chance to build their own adornments using display tiles in an interactive game.
