The White Ribbon, a Eurimages film, awarded the Golden Palm at Cannes

[25/05/2009 17:00:00] After a record selection of 12 films supported by the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, the Golden Palm was awarded on Sunday 24 May to the Austrian film director Michael Haneke for ''The White Ribbon''. This film is a coproduction supported by Eurimages, involving Austria, France, Germany and Italy. The aim of Eurimages, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is to promote European cinema by fostering the production and the circulation of films and encouraging co-operation among professionals. Conference on the education of Roma children in Europe

Money laundering: evaluation report on Ukraine

The report analyses the implementation of international and European standards, assesses levels of compliance with the Financial Action Task Force recommendations, and includes an action plan.
