Services
Plan your tripIn this section you can brief yourselves of how to arrive to the Dalí Theatre-Museum:
To enjoy the visit to the three Dalí Museums properly, at least two days are needed. The distance between the three Dalí Museums means that you have to allow for journeys of at least 40 kilometres if you want to go from Figueres to Portlligat (Cadaqués) and another 40 kilometres from Figueres to Púbol (near la Bisbal d'Empordà, heading in the Girona direction).
Access requirements
The special complexity of the Dalí Theatre-Museum, located in the ruins of a former theatre, makes access to the building difficult for people with reduced mobility. The areas that can be visited in a wheelchair are: the central courtyard with the Rainy Cadillac montage; the stage, where visitors can enjoy the area under the dome and a selection of key works by Salvador Dalí in the Treasure Room; the ground floor and the under-stage area, where there is the painter's crypt, drawings, engravings, etc., and an exhibition of paintings representing various periods, in the Fishmongers' Room. It is unfortunately impossible to gain acces to the rest of the museum in a wheelchair. Access for persons in wheelchair is via Gala Dalí Square, the terrace-bars zone, having first informed the museum staff.
Policy for filming and taking picturesWhen taking pictures, you are not allowed to use the flash or any other photographic equipment. If this happens, the camera will be temporarily held back until the owner finishes the visit. Public communication of the images taken inside the Dalí museums needs an authorization and rights clearance.
