Road Safety

Road safety is a priority for us

The Abertis road safety program includes more than 60 years of knowledge and experience in the construction and management of motorways with the highest quality standards.

Through this global program, transversal teams from all disciplines and geographies work together to ensure knowledge and application of the best practices in road safety on Abertis' roads.

We work on a vision of road safety focused on five pillars: safe infrastructures, road safety management, safer vehicles, safer users and post-crash response.

Thinking about the future, Abertis, through its Foundation and the different companies of the Group, yearly carries out awareness campaigns aimed to reduce accidents, addressed at groups such as children, youth and old people.

Abertis has a global alliance with Unicef to fight road traffic accidents involving children and promotes road safety projects in different countries. We are also UN ambassadors for the fight against road traffic accidents, actively participating in its UN's International Road Safety Group.
