TRANSMILENIO S.A. awarded ARDANUY S.A., in consortium with CRA S.A. (Consultores Regionales Asociados S.A., property of Genivar), the Auditor component of the 2001 Concession Nº01 contract. Its objective is to design, supply, implement, operate, integrate and maintain the fleet collection and management subsystem, the customer service and information subsystem, and the integration and consolidation of information subsystem, which make up the SIRCI, for the Bogotá, D.C. integrated public transport system; for a value of approximately 2 Million euros with a timeframe of 1 year.
The activities to be developed require highly specialised knowledge to monitor the SIRCI Subsystems, among those the fleet collection and control. These activities are considered to be of great complexity and extension, taking into account the number de buses that operate within the Integrated Public Transport System, approximately 12,333 buses, and the entrance into operation of Phase III of the TransMilenio System. The system’s implementation will be gradual, and has been divided into 3 implementation stages, in function of the percentage of operative routes in each moment.
With this contract, ARDANUY S.A. consolidates its position in Colombia, thanks to its high degree of specialisation in technological platforms and systems associated with mass public transport.
